The Beach
When you stay with us, you’ll have access to the beach at the Floridana Beach Community Center, 1 block from the motel. The center provides a cabana, outdoor shower, barbecue pits, basketball court, and parking.

Enjoy surf fishing, surfing, shelling, swimming, sunbathing, kite-flying, treasure hunting and metal detecting on the beach. Take an early morning walk and watch the sunrise over the ocean.
	A bike path runs right in front of the motel, and extends 8 miles to the north and 7 miles to the south. Use the path to walk, bike or rollerblade to the beach, Honest John’s Fish Camp, Long Point Park, Sebastian Inlet, and the Archie Carr Wildlife Preserve.

We’ll keep you informed of space shuttle launch dates and times so that you can witness the space shuttle soaring over Floridana Beach on its course to earth orbit.

From April to September the loggerhead, green, and leatherback sea-turtles lay their eggs at night on the beach.

A morning walk on the beach reveals the tracks of the 300 pound turtles from the water's edge to the grassy dunes, and their return back to the ocean.
