Fishing The beach provides some of the best surf fishing in the country. Pompano, whiting, bluefish, snook, tarpon, Spanish mackerel, and redfish can all be caught right off the beach.
Motel owner Ernest DeSantis likes to surf fish and will try to help you catch fish. but don't forget, it's called "fishing", not catching. He is also a "golfer" but has on more than one occasion became a goofer. I do get a birdie once in awhile. I just wish they would quite flying into my ball.
